Pack 850 has four campouts per year. Two campouts are scheduled in the fall, and two in the spring. Check the Events menu for the campouts planned this year.
The campouts with Pack 850 are family oriented and folks are encouraged to participate as a whole family.
Campouts are an integral part of the scouting experience and the boys simply love it. This is a time for them to spend 2 days filled with fun activities with their buddies.
In addition, this is a time for scouts to complete achievements and earn patches, belt loops and pins.

At Pack 850 we like to camp in style as far as meals are concerned. If you think we eat cold sandwidches and snacks you will be in for a surprise when you check our menu.






Each family should bring their own camping equipment, including :
  • Tent
  • Sleeping Bags
  • Drop cloth
  • Camp Chairs Cots or Ground Pads
  • Flashlights and spare batteries
Pack 850 provides all food and cooking equipment.
No pets, no alcohol, and no liquid fuel (e.g., white gas lanterns).
